The Grace of Gratitude

Chrildren are nourrished thanks to are donation to the «Casa de Sopas»

We are allowed to bring two large 70 pound each suitcases. As a sign of generosity, please ask your friends to clean their cupboards and to contribute to the happiness of two single-parent families with 7 children between the age of l and 13 years and the mothers of two Indian families living in the mountains who need warm sweaters. Women enjoy Jersey stretch clothes, tops, etc. We will also bring the other things to the Casa de Sopa founded by Joao for the poor of the village of Abadiânia where 60 % of the men are unemployed and often walk barefeet. Their smiles of gratitude can warm up and illuminate our hearts and cleanse our karma.

Preparation for the Journey

Before each participant makes the decision to spend money towards a trip to the Casa, I consult with him/her, so that I may inform him/her to the best of my abilities.

Each person with a physical or mental disability requiring daily assistance from another person must be accompanied. The accompanying person must also pay the same costs.

Expenses

• The daily cost of a stay is of 95 us$ per travel day(double occupancy).

2012 April lst for 3 weeks or more and July 28st for 3 weeks or more as Monica is staying for 7 weeks in Abadiania to be with John of God and you. As far as the accommodation is concerned, the rooms are monastic with two single beds and a private bathroom. If you desire to be alone, depending on the availability, you will have to account for an extra 15 us$ per day.

• Three meals a day are included.

• Bring pocket money, in 100 us$ bills, to change in Real in Brazil. For a last minute inscription, meaning 10 days before the departure, please add 100 us$ dollars.

• My expenses as a guide cover the administration of your file, follow-ups and phone calls in order
  to prepare your stay, reservations, the stay and the meals at the pousada, a private consultation
  over the phone (prior to departure), translation services on location, group meetings, plus the   personalized information sessions during the visits at the Casa, buying food, etc. A Focusing
  session with me is 75 $.

• Aerial transportation and taxis are not included. Moreover, you must assume passport, visa
  and travel insurance expenses.

• Joâo’s work is free of charge.However, only donations are sustaining the Casa’s maintenance
  costs. Let yourself be touched by the wonder that takes place and your heart will suggest to you
  the amount you wish to offer, in total discretion, in a sealed envelope deposited in a mural box.

• Crystal Baths as a complementary healing to Joâo operations: 15 us$ for a 20 minutes session.
  I recommend two double sessions a week, amounting to 60 us$ weekly. Please foresee enough
  money for buying crystals, books and souvenirs as well as for long distances, faxes, and cafés
  and restaurants outings.

• If desired, on the first Tuesday, an excursion is offered to visit the magnificent Salto Corumbâ falls:   crystal waters at the feet of the falls, huge mountain spring water pool, a generous meal, taxi and
  Monica as your guide: 85 us$ for the day. You may join us on the second Tuesday for another
  excursion at the Vago Fogo Sanctuary, an ecological reserve of rare beauty where you will enjoy
  falls and a lagoon, a bio 6-service meal, with local products. 85 us$ for the day.

• Bottles of water energized by the Entities are offered at the Case for 2 Reals (1.5 litre, 1 us$).
